The love for traveling has for years taken freelance photographer Roberto Falck out on the road to capture images of places that cross his way.
In his quest to reveal the essence of these new places, he has focused on people and their cultures, paying close attention to the color,
form and moment in which each exists.
Falck’s images are of big metropolises like New York, Mexico City, London and Madrid, as well as hidden corners like Petra in Jordan;
Iguasu and Perito Moreno in Argentina; and the "grutas de Cacahuamilpa" in Mexico. Yearning to know more of his home continent and culture,
he has made Latin America his most recent focus, shooting extensively in Ecuador, Brazil, Cuba, Peru, Argentina, and Mexico. Born in Ecuador,
he later learned that “traveling within Ecuador was the first step to discover the rest of the world..."
In the spring of 2006, after twelve years of photographing far-off lands, Falck opened up a storefront studio, Roberto Falck Photography,
in the heart of Park Slope, and his decision to dedicate the space to child and family photography was a surprise even to himself.
He started his career in 1992 when studying at Kutztown University in Pennsylvania where he took an introductory black and white photography class.
Mostly self taught, Falck has developed an extraordinary eye for design and color. To see more of Roberto Falck’s work,
